He attended school with his friends and was a solid average student. There was never a problem in getting him to do his work. Books written at school by Matthew remain on the shelves in our living room as they bring comfort and a smile upon reading them. They are entitled, Tombstone Ghost , Fishing, and Merry Christmas.
As a little tyke, he would go trick or treating on Halloween until he finally needed to be carried. Throughout the years, we enjoyed many special times. Matthew loved all the holidays and got into the spirit of making decorations for the Christmas tree, cutting out Christmas cookies and eating them of course! There were Easter egg hunts and the traditional holiday gatherings such as Thanksgiving. At those dinners there was always a prayer of Thanks for being together and having our health.
